Awareness Design with Ribbon, Cross and Feather Background 

Hello Friday! Can you believe it's October already? It's time to pink everything again for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As a bonus, this week's design can work for just about any type of awareness if you swap up the colors. 

Last year I did an inspirational quote filled ribbon (to read more about it and download your copy click here). I wanted to do something a little different this year and the first thing that popped into my head was one of my favorite Emily Dickinson poems - "'Hope' Is the Thing with Feathers." 

It's a beautiful piece visualizing hope as a bird who can weather any storm and so applicable to the warriors who fight cancer. To incorporate that meaning, I came up with this monogram frame with feather background:

The download includes two copies. This one is the ready to use two piece version with optional solid base. Just cut and press. Maybe add your own quote or names.

There's also a fully layered version, basically the version before I added in all of the offsets, in case you would like to customize it a little. In it the feather background spans the entire piece and cross is whole where it can be pulled out to use for other projects. You get the idea.

This one's a new permanent fixture in the Free Commercial section, it will be available there full time.
